Before joining Walsh Anderson in 2001, Shellie served as a staff attorney and the Director of Legal Services at the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) for over ten years. She is a frequent speaker at regional, statewide and national seminars, on such topics as religious issues in schools, student discipline, bullying, employment and personnel issues, and school board training requirements. Shellie is a former Chair of the School Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, served on the Board of Directors of the National School Boards Association Council of School Attorneys, and is a member of the Texas Council of School Attorneys. She is a proud supporter of Texas public schools, as the daughter of a Texas public school teacher, a graduate of the Texas public school system, and the mother of an elementary-age daughter enrolled in Austin ISD.

Shellie Hoffman Crow has represented Texas public school districts for her entire legal career since graduating from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990.
