Amanda has been General Counsel for Keller ISD since 2008. She worked in private practice at law firms for 6 years both litigating and practicing preventative law before making her way into the heart of public education. You may have seen Amanda in her monthly video series on YouTube called Please Don’t. Amanda is also an adjunct professor at TCU teaching school law to graduate students within the College of Education.

TCU may pay her but she bleeds green and gold. Amanda did both her undergraduate and law school work at Baylor University. Amanda is a member of the Texas Bar Foundation. She has served on the City of Keller Planning and Zoning Commission and is an active volunteer with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Amanda is painfully in love with her 7 year old nephew, Keaton, and has managed to keep an orchid alive for just over 5 years, which may be her most impressive accomplishment to date. Amanda is an avid traveler (when not in a pandemic), reader, movie watcher, art appreciator, and board game player.
